We're skiing once again!

It has been, lets just say many years since I have been skiing. Darrick picked up boarding and hasn't skiied for quite some time as well. Now that we live in the mountains and I am not pregnant or have a small baby, we decided that this was the perfect year to pick it back up and start the girls. We took them last week and we all had a blast!

We took them on the bunny hill, but that didn't last long, so we hit the lift and away they went. It is amazing how fast kids pick up on things. Now we know why everyone here starts their kids at 2 or 3. Skiing is now Camden's favorite sport. Who knows maybe we'll even get Oakley out once this year.

Here is a picture of them at the top of the mountain. We can't wait to go again. Hopefully we get up there a few more times this year!

My sweet little Kota

The other day while talking about Christmas I asked Kota what she wanted. She said "I don't know." Then she thought for a minute and said, "I just want to tell Santa what I want." Then she paused for another moment and said, "Do you know what I want from you mom? A big hug and a kiss." How sweet she is. I just love her so much. She definately is my little cuddle bug.

Happy Birthday Camden

I can't believe that Camden is 6 already. There is always a lot of celebrating on her birthday! She wanted her ears pierced for her birthday, so we took her Wal-mart (the only place in town besides the tatoo parlor) and the lady scared her off. We bought the little piercing kit, brought her home and wala, she has pierced ears. She is loving school and is still awesome at anything that she tries or does.

Happy Halloween

Here are our sweet little goblins.
Dakota was Lucy (from Chronicles of Narnia) Camden was Juliet (I am sure brought on by the song from Taylor Swift) and Oakley was a little Bumblebee. They had a great Halloween. Oakley is still our little sweet tooth and loved trick-or-treating. It was a fun year

Halloween Party

We brought back our tradition of having a halloween party. It was a lot of fun and we had a lot of kids from school, church, and the neighborhood there. One thing for sure, it gets crazier the older that they get. It was fun to get to know some of the kids' friends better. We all had such a good time!
